As expected, the rain started as we drove to a holiday dinner at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. With more rain in the forecast, I do not anticipate washing the X any time soon...

When I ordered my Model X back in 2016, I was really looking forward to being able to drive solo in our HOV lanes...little did I know then that this privilege would expire at the beginning of 2019 with no option for renewal.

I have been prepared for the stickers to destroy themselves upon removal...it was one of the reasons I made sure to adhere them to the plastic parts of the X's bumper. And I have Goof Off Heavy Duty spray on hand.

I am sad to say that I barely took advantage of this perk while I had it. I didn't need it for my commute and I hadn't bothred to pick up a Fastrak transponder so I couldn't even use those lanes the few times I drove Downtown. After three rounds of Goof Off and elbow grease, I have managed to eliminate all evidence that these stickers were ever on my X. The Falcon looks much better without them.

With the week of never ending rain behind us, Valerie and I wash our Teslas. My X is quite a bit dirtier as she has stayed on the driveway the entire time.

Since I knew it would be raining during my morning commute, you'd think I would have parked the X facing the other way, closer to the garage, and that I wouldn't have left my umbrella in the car when I got home last night #WetCommute #ThunderstormThursday #NeverRainsItPours #Tesla #ModelX

MARCHI - Crap! I forgot to take a photo of when and where The Falcon crossed 20,000 miles! A little reversing of my route has me crossing the milestone around America's Tire in Torrance. I'm more than a little disappointed that I missed capturing the moment because I wasn't even in my X when she crossed the 10,000 mile mark! Note that I'm not on a street usually taken during my morning commute...I stopped at Dunkin Donuts to pick up a little something for my office.

This is my first time plugging in at one of Tesla's "Urban Supercharger". Their Manhattan Beach location is a 15 to 20 minute walk from my office...so I can come back and pick her up during my lunch break.

My X has spent a good amount of nights outside in the rain, while Valerie's 3 has been in the garage charging.
