When GT6 introduced the notion of rotating "Daily Races", I vowed to always race if it focused on NSXs. I do believe this week featured the first NSX One Make Race since this NSX-R was added...so I entered quite a few more Daily Race A events than I usually do. Unfortunately, Streets of Willow is a highly technical course that requires a lot of careful braking...and many of those who compete online aren't exactly careful or even worthy of their "S" sportsmanship rating.
I had a mix of good and bad races, but this morning I found that starting from the pole doesn't guarantee you'll escape a first corner hit that sent me into the dirt and to the back of the pack. Still, I was far faster and more consistent than most in this particular race and I found myself with a couple of chances to overtake the leaders on the final two laps, but their erratic driving made it impossible for me to cleanly overtake them. At least I still got on the podium...
