The overcast morning had me worried, but the sun has burned through in time for the first Big Red Button Pool Party
Last week the pool was too warm, but the last couple of days have been significantly cooler...so much so that I actually worried if the water would be too cold!
Today's theme is Hawaiian...which means we are serving SPAM!
Friends introduced us to Tabasco SPAM a few years ago...we strongly prefer these
Valerie made ramen salad and potato mac salad...two classic sides for Hawaiian mixed plates
Though not Hawaiian, Valerie has made Korean Glass Noodles for many parties...and they go really well with Kalbi, which I will be grilling once guests arrive
Another item that strays from our theme (which also happens to be not very Chinese either) ;)
