DAY 1 - Valerie and I return to the farm to help family setup for tomorrow's gathering
Rocky greets us
Thunderstorms are in the forecast, so I switch to my long lens and snap pictures around the farm before it starts to rain
Hydrangea
Bird house and wagon wheels in front of a cornfield
Name over the garage
An old horse drawn carriage
Another piece of farm equipment or simply a display stand for flowers?
I get Rocky to sit and pose...just...long...enough
Bobby Joe is on the tractor with Scooter close by unfazed by Rocky's presence
As I walk around the far side of the barn, cows appear in the doorway
There is a cell tower located over the hill...we get full bars on the farm, but not at our home in PV!
Corn (for the cows)
Corn silo
Corn
Looking back towards the barn and the house
The gazebo reflects upon the pond
ArcAngel Falls
Ontario Grain Drill
The sun room and deck were added during the renovation
Uncle Gabby suggests I snap a picture of Rocky while he is resting
Mola hangs out near his food dish in the kitchen
For some reason, Lance calls Mola "Jumanji"
After a short period of rain, I head outside for a few more shots of flowers
These flowers surround the waterfall
When the sun comes out, so do the cows
They are heading this way
Mother and calf
Rocky waits for me to return to the house
I go for a walk with mom and Valerie...and Dave follows us
Dave stalks us from the cornfield
He may be a love, but we must be weary of his affections...he's a nibbler!
Moe tries to get Maela's attention by rubbing on her leg
He is really affectionate!
Moe relaxes in the cornfield
Cousin Steve chats with mom
Sarah, Steve, Mom, Ben, Valerie, Alex
Ben and Mom
Cousin Bo holds Bobby Joe
Bo wants to go hunt groundhogs, but does not want Rocky following him
He watches someone take Rocky back to the house
After eating cow crap, Rocky washes his mouth in the koi pond. Mom will no longer let Rocky lick her face.
Aunt Barbi works in the garden
