DAY 2 (continued) - Unless I am mistaken, the last time I used a treadmill was at La Résidence d'Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Como Shambhala Estate's only flaw is that it does not provide any running routes on property or off (apparently there are a lot of dogs along the narrow streets that leave the hotel). In other words, I have no choice but to use the fitness center. On the bright side, it is still nice and cool in here! I would have had to wake up a LOT earlier to avoid today's high heat and humidity.
According to my training schedule, I'm supposed to run 5+ today
DAY 4 - I have woken up before sunrise to run 4 miles...before it gets too humid to do so. The view from our room at the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan is a bit gloomy...which makes me happy
I head out from our room, but which way should I go?
The sprawling and tiered layout of the Four Seasons actually works in my favor as I can stay mostly upon paths and roads on property and get a good workout
I have run down to the Ayung River...which serves as the northern to western boundaries of the resort's property
I run back below the central structure of the resort
I look back at the river
The Four Seasons' Kids Club has a fun looking tree house
I head back up the road towards the resort's Main Lobby
We crossed this bridge when checking in yesterday. It serves as a shortcut from where our room is located and the resort's main facilities (Lobby, Fitness Center, Spa, and Ayung Terrace, one of the resort's restaurants)
Lots of little pools
Note that these roads aren't heavily trafficked...at least not at this early hour

When I return to our villa I am treated to an X-rated show on the stairs to the front door
DAY 7 - I am up for another run before sunrise, this time from our room at The Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. NOTE: I did one more run while we were still Ubud, but basically repeated the same 4 miler (so I didn't bother taking any photos)
The resort is located at the southern end of Jimbaran Beach...meaning this will be the first time I have ever run with a view of the Indian Ocean
I run to the fish pier Kedonganan located closer to the northern end of Jimbaran Bay
