DAY 13 - I reach Place du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre and manage to snap my first photo of Tour Eiffel one minute before sunrise!
I spot another photographer and ask if he knows exactly where the sun will rise. He tells me I will not be able to see the sun from this vantage point.
Valerie is sleeping in this morning, but will be joining me later
I try switching to my 50mm lens, but quickly discover my viewing angles are limited. In order to capture the entire tower, I have to stand at the far end of this upper vantage point...and frame the composition vertically.
I swap to the 70-200 as soon as I see the sun
Les Invalides I presume
