DAY 18 - We arrive at Narita International Terminal 2 early in the morning. Unlike our last visit to Southeast Asia, we will not be spending any nights in Tokyo before heading home.
While Valerie sleeps on a bench in the terminal, I take a stroll down Narita Fifth Avenue
I step inside the Broadband Cafe to recharge my smartphone and catch up on Facebook...via free wifi!
View of the control tower and tram from the cafe
After napping, Valerie and I wander around the terminal looking for something to eat
After checking out all of our options this side of passport control, we finally decide to try Cafe & Bar Avion...
...based solely upon their display of fake food
View from the cafe: Could this American Airlines Boeing 777-223/ER (N779AN/7AK) be our flight home?
Lunch arrives...shoyu ramen with extra pork. Valerie and I have become big fans of ramen since our first time in Tokyo and this serving satifies.
Cafe & Bar Avion has a nice ambience, but those bar stools look a bit beat up!
We still have some time to kill, so we head to Akihabara. This is not the same thing as Electric Town...not even close!
$1,237 for the Sony NEX-5N? That's way over MSRP
Tempting...SO tempting
Time to head over to Terminal 2's Satellite
I could have sworn the time for Los Angeles was displayed when I snapped this pic
On the tram to the Satellite
Oncoming tram
This American Airlines Boeing 777 is our flight home. Valerie and I will be boarding in thirty minutes...and we are both looking forward to being home with our boys
