DAY 11 (continued) - After a short flight to Saigon and a brief stop at Papa's office, we arrive at Valerie's parents' home. This is our first visit with her parents since our wedding nearly ten years ago. Maman is obviously thrilled to see us
We use my Sony PSP to share photos via with Maman and her sister
After enjoying lunch at home, Valerie and I take a ride through the streets of Saigon...
...and soon arrive at our five star destination
There's a Christmas tree in the lobby
Our room at the Renaissance is a good size
Thankfully the bed is really comfortable since we're spending 11 nights here!
It's not the nicest bathroom we've had since arriving in Vietnam, but it looks new and is stocked with plenty of toilet paper

DAY 12 - From our room at the Renaissance, we're thrilled to see partly cloudy skies...the best weather we've had since arriving in Vietnam
Valerie's brother Phuc (Michael) and a hired driver arrive at the hotel to pick us up
The Saigon Trade Center is the tallest building in Saigon
From its top floor, we can see our hotel (top to the left of center)
