DAY 3 - Since Valerie did not get to go with me to Hana yesterday, I am driving her there today. Along the way, we stop at a taco stand my relay team recommended. The kalua pig tacos are really good!
We get lei'd and upgraded to an ocean view room with spa as we check-in at the Hotel Hana-Maui
Thanks to her work and my running, today is actually the longest amount of time that Valerie and I have spent together since I joined her on Maui. In other words, we are really looking forward to a relaxing evening
Our Sea Ranch Cottage is very nice and unexpectedly spacious
Bed looks comfy...and still has a view of the ocean
The bathroom
Shower
View from bathroom to bedroom
Private sitting area outside of bathroom
Cabinets in bathroom
Kitchenette has a fridge stocked with "included" soft drinks and water...and a coffee grinder for "included" whole bean coffee
Did I mention that our room has a spa?
Our large lanai has a sitting area to enjoy the view as well
The sun comes out just as Valerie and I decide to step outside of our room
We walk along the path towards Hana Bay
The hotel's property ends at a hill overlooking the bay
Valerie tries out one of the lounge chairs (similar to ours, but not exactly the same)
I wait for the clouds to stop shadowing the sun before taking more photos
I stand near Hotel Hana-Maui's Wellness Pool
Beautiful location for a swimming pool
Valerie stands under the gate leading to the side of the property where all of the Sea Ranch Cottages are located (I stand across the street)
Garden Pool Pavilion (Yoga classes are taught here every morning...Valerie plans to drag me along)
This banyan tree overlooks the pavilion
