DAY 1 - No, this is not Mammoth...and apparently it isn't Mount Whitney either!
We get a good view of Mount Whitney while grabbing breakfast from the McDonalds in Lone Pine (we're just not sure which peak it is)
With weather this nice, Valerie decides it's time to take her first run from the top
DAY 2 - Due to increasing winds, we decide to head no higher than Face Lift
Valerie is ready to go
I pause to admire the fluffy stuff before strapping in
We go around the back as usual (the snow is hard packed here)...
...to cut across the mountain...
...and head over to Chair 12
The weather so far has been amazing
From Chair 14...
...Valerie follows me on Upper Road Runner...
...down towards the Outpost Cafe
At Mill, we bump into Wooly
DAY 3 - I take coworker Amir to the top
Later, we return to the top with fellow Dog Jason (not Rubin)
Unfortunately, it has gotten VERY windy and icy
We meet up with Dogs past and present at Dublins (in the new Village). Dids (pictured here with wife Lisa) recently started his own company Ready At Dawn Studios (www.readyatdawn.com)
DAY 4 - Valerie heads down Back for More...
...one of the runs from Chair 25...
...en route to Little Eagle
At Little Eagle, we find Lisa unable to snowboard because she hurt her knees
Valerie and I cut down Easy Rider...
...en route to Mill and, eventually, Main Lodge
