Valerie did a great job tying the legs
Valerie wasn't originally going to, but couldn't resist baking an apple pie...and she once again teamed with Cheryl Hasegawa to bake those unbelievably good hazlenut macarons!
Placed near these particular photos, dessert looks like an offering to those who are no longer with us. Our dads would definitely appreciate these...mine used to bake the apple pies we enjoyed every Thanksgiving.
Happy Gluttony Day!
Hmmmm...maybe I'll skip dinner and go straight for dessert
Before the main event, Valerie brings out celery and carrots...
...to be dipped in her homemade hummus and baba ghanoush. So good!
Mom baked her famous banana nut bread and rolls for the meal
Boom...there it is
Valerie poses with her big bird
Of course, I need to capture a version with the smartphone
