After weeks of spotting a peahen (or peahens?) in our neighborhood, I finally see a peacock in our backyard

These shots are through the kitchen window...I wonder if I can sneak outside to get a closer look

The peacock starts climbing the hill as soon as I step outside

Run Forrest...Run!

Once again, I miss a chance to snap a shot of a peacock in flight. He flies over the pool, lands on the roof over our dining room, and proceeds over the living room before disappearing on the solar panel side. I am too slow to catch any shots of him flying / jumping down and crossing the street
