Downtown LA is hidden by fog, but the snowcapped local mountains rise above it. Note that my New Year's Resolution is to take fewer smartphone photos. I have processed way too many pics taken during runs since the pandemic began (1,698...1,317 in 2021 alone)!

This is one of the few dirt paths I enjoy running upon after a storm...it never gets affected by the rain, not even muddy. Note that it is still cold enough that this is the second time I have worn my cold weather Buff in a configuration that covers my ears and my mouth and nose...though the latter is making my glasses fog up.
NEW YEARS EVE - The latest storm has finally moved on, but yesterday's crazy rain was not why I deferred my scheduled 6 miler until today...I had a dentist appointment (yay, no cavities!)
The weather app says it is supposedly in the mid-to-high 40s. Fake news?
