The Dim Sum Truck is scheduled to park at 2700 Colorado from 11:30am to 2pm, but it is long overdue. This is only its first day in the field...so who knows when it will arrive
Somehow I knew I would find it on Pennsylvania Avenue
This truck certainly lacks the character of Nom Nom...hopefully the dim sum is good
$8 gets a decent amount of food, though, for this price, you will get a bánh mì + taco + drink combo from Nom Nom Truck
Siu Mai and Har Gow
Baked Char Siu Bao...I didn't see steamed on their order form (even though they had pics of them on the truck)
Food BUS! As far as I know, World Fare is the first mobile food purveyor sporting an actual dining area. I only order a sample from their menu as I am really here to wait for...
...the return of the Dim Sum Truck. This is its first time back at Pennsylvania and 26th since its first day out
While waiting to order dim sum, I enjoy "Bunny Chow" from World Fare. The Short Rib Bunny is tasty, but a bit overpriced. I liked the free sample of the BBQ Bunny....more trucks should offer free samples!
Once again, we head to the Water Garden to consume our mobile eats
If Dim Sum Truck had steamed pork buns, I would have ordered them as well. I asked and they do apparently carry them from time to time
Third time is the charm...Dim Sum Truck finally has steamed pork buns. That said, I am disappointed...they are kinda pasty. Perhaps I should have eaten them as soon as I got them
