I grab the DSLR to better capture how perfect her macarons look
Her macaron are as impressive tasting as they are in appearance and texture. There's only a faint hint of green tea in the cookie, but the guava filling is delish.
Cheryl and Valerie are teaming together in an attempt to follow one of the recipes from Pierre Hermé's macaron cookbook
And if you haven't already guessed, hazelnut will be the featured ingredient in this evening's effort
Hazelnuts are Valerie's favorite nut
Valerie reviews the recipe

Valerie wasn't originally going to, but couldn't resist baking an apple pie...and she once again teamed with Cheryl Hasegawa to bake those unbelievably good hazlenut macarons!
Hmmmm...maybe I'll skip dinner and go straight for dessert
