Hoping to avoid congestion caused by an accident in middle of the 110 north in Downtown, I make the mistake of getting off at Adams. At this rate, we will be lucky to arrive before 8pm
Valerie and I are just happy to have reached the tram by 7:40pm. Traffic was not only bad in Downtown, but also on Lankershim
The Universal Studios Tour Tram shuttles us to the backlot location of tonight's event
A perfect evening for such an event...70+ degrees. And they have rolled out the red carpet for us!
Where to begin?
Facebook has chefs?
Seared ahi egg roll from Sam Choy's gets us started. (Unfortunately, this is the only shot of food I took at the event)
When I heard Audi was a sponsor, I knew the new R8 Spyder would be making an appearance.
I am a huge fan of the original R8...and think the Spyder looks awesome from the front
However, I do not think it looks all that great as a convertible
If someone gave me one, I certainly would not complain...but I would not pay $160,000 for one
Audi logo
I really like the LEDs on the Audis...not a big fan of how they look when modded on to other cars
I'll stick to the V10 R8 coupe
An hour into the event, we start looking for water, but cannot find any.
With tables running out of food, dessert a no-show, and no water in sight, Valerie and I decide to leave the festival. (Little did we know that we missed an entire area with all the restaurants we were looking forward to trying)
