Peacock pants! Perhaps this is why a peahen has been hanging around our yard lately

Speak of the devil! I often say it sounds like a peacock is right outside of our bedroom...and today I have proof. This looks like the same peahen that visited us last month.

These are really shy birds...hard to get close

Always has an eye on me

Now where are you going?

Back there, eh?

I follow the peahen as she tries to hide behind our pool shed

She emerges on the other side and appears to be looking for a way out of our yard

After fleeing our yard, the peahen crosses the street and heads down the hill
