DAY 3 - GROUP D, SESSION 1: If you told me 3 years ago that I'd be tracking my NSX, I would have said you were nuts...

...but here I am climbing in my car to await my driving instructor

From sitting in the instructor's meeting on Friday, I'm a little concerned about the esses (Turns 7 through 10)...as if I wasn't worried enough about the concrete walls around Turn 11! A technical track with little runoff doesn't seem ideal for a first-timer, but one can learn a lot from such a challenging course

Niello Acura High Performance Driving School's dense track schedule leaves little time for me to take pictures or shoot video, but Valerie is free (and willing) to record more than enough memories

Since he has some previous track experience, Randy (FuryNSX) gets to watch my group's lap sessions

Mark Allan, my instructor (and fellow NSXer), introduces himself before taking the wheel of my car

Mark waits to exit the pits...I'm not very nervous because Marc (NSXTC) introduced me and my NSX to the track earlier in the day

And away we go!!!

Starting our second lap (I take over on the next lap)

...because he's ready to hand the controls over to me

I swap positions with Mark, just moments from my first time driving on ANY track (shifter-karts and Gran Turismo excluded)

Okay, I'm strapped in and ready to go

Damn, Scott (ss_md) gets to go on the track ahead of me

Bruce completes a lap...
