DAY 2 - Eager to walk the track, we track participants report to Infineon Raceway at 7:30am as ordered
but the walkers have left us behind (and we are prevented from going on our own)
Since I can't walk the track, I might as well take pictures
KRC Racing Schools (from Willow Springs) has brought some toys to show off
One of the KRC boys tells me that these Ferraris are for sale
If it took 3 years for me to work up the nerve to track my NSX, how long would it take for these?
I've taken shifter-kart courses with KRC, but these are definitely not go-karts
Something tells me that this is not a stock instrument cluster
If you've seen my pics from Day 1, you already know the story behind this vanity plate
American Honda provides lunch at Infineon's Raceway Cafe (through Sunday)
One of two Midnight Pearl NSXs I've seen at NSXPO
Note how drastically the purpleness is affected by angle of view and lighting
My NSX parked among the masses near the main grandstand
Only at an NSX gathering would I feel comfortable parking next to a car sporting a UCLA plate frame
Hillside view of Infineon's lot
Hillside view of the lot (framed closer to the cars)
My car from the hillside overlooking the lot
Infineon Raceway grandstand logo
Jacked NSX
White NSX in front of the lap leaderboard
This is wrong on just so many levels
I wonder who parked their NSX in the winner's circle
Though he usually asks us to take photos, Justin (JChoice) snaps a great shot of us
Since I have little interest in modding my car, I'd rather take pics than meet vendors or attend tech seminars
