OCTOBER - Three weekends in a row, I wake up early and drive my NSX to a car meet before sunrise...though this time I arrive as the sun is coming up
Ferrari 488 GTB at sunrise
Ferrari Testarossa and 488 GTB at sunrise
McLaren Senna
More Ferraris arrive
As with last week, I need to squeeze in a run before it gets too hot...so I leave as more cars arrive
I pass the local Target as I run to PenHi's track. This used to be where Cox Cable was located...and our local C&C was held in this parking lot for a period of time.
As I run back to the Promenade, I pass the old gang. A small group still meets at the usual spot at the Peninsula Center.
A small group with "The Runt". Doesn't this look like one of those MicroMachines?
"The Runt"
After I finish my run, I head to my car to drop off my ear buds and water. Why is it that so many people mistake the NSX for a Corvette? As you can see here, even the mid-engined 'Vettes don't look anything like my NSX!
This McLaren 735LT is a relatively late arrival
This is not the first time that I've seen this McLaren Senna at our local Cars and Coffee...but it is the first time I have had a chance to photograph it since I upgraded to the Canon EOS R5. I am shooting it with my Canon EF28-70 F2.8L USM...which has somewhat replaced my 16-35mm F2.8L as my primary lens for covering events (especially those in which I only bring a single lens)
