Exactly one week after Valerie and I hiked to Angels Landing in Zion National Park, we join a bunch of my BRB coworkers for a hike near Mount Zion in the Angeles National Forest
The parking lot is packed and cars are parked along the street leading up to Chantry Flat. Apparently most of the crowd will be heading to Sturtevant Falls...but we are not most of the crowd.

Ben tries to reach his brother after receiving some unexpected news during the drive up here
Apparently there are a lot of hiking options from this location.

Starting our hike
Now I wish I had my wide angle lens with me
Shadows from a bridge

Valerie on a bridge being silly
Valerie talked me into this hike...I had planned on running 13 miles today.

I take photos of the signs for reference in case we get lost (note: I did not know at the time that the trail we would be hiking upon was NOT listed upon THIS sign)
A heavy canopy ensures we will stay cool, but the lighting conditions will be a challenge
Looking back down the shadowy path from which we came
This looks like the forest level that ships with CryEngine 3
